Her goal is to drive school success by alleviating the burden of stress from teachers, allowing them to focus more on their students’ growth and development. Additionally, Christina is committed to providing Individualized Education and Wellbeing Programs (IEWP) for students requiring support outside of the traditional classroom setting, ensuring that every child receives the personalized attention and care they deserve to reach their fullest potential. Through her ambitious efforts, Christina seeks to create inclusive and empowering educational environments where every student can thrive.
In her extensive experience within schools, Christina observed a glaring gap in the ability to create individualized academic and wellbeing portfolios. She recognized that this wasn’t due to any fault of the teachers, principals, or schools themselves, but rather an inherent impossibility stemming from various constraints and limitations within the educational system. The traditional approach simply couldn’t accommodate the diverse needs and nuances of each student’s academic and wellbeing journey. This realization fuelled Christina’s excitement and passion for establishing La Mer Wellbeing as the solution to this pressing issue. La Mer Wellbeing aims to revolutionize the educational landscape by providing a comprehensive platform for creating personalized academic and wellbeing portfolios for every student, empowering them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Through innovative strategies and dedicated support, La Mer Wellbeing seeks to unlock the full potential of every learner, transforming the educational experience for students, teachers, and schools alike.
With a Bachelor of Education in Teacher Librarianship and Masters degrees in Educational Leadership and Business Administration, Christina is widely recognized for her innovative approach and steadfast commitment to student wellbeing and success. Her lifelong commitment revolves around transforming antiquated school systems, prioritizing holistic wellbeing, and empowering every child to reach their utmost potential.
As the Founder and Director of La Mer Wellbeing, Christina leads groundbreaking initiatives in learning and wellbeing centers, specializing in designing cutting-edge school libraries and supporting government assistance families. Her innovative approach is exemplified by the development of the ‘CREATE Appreciation for Learning’ theory, a cornerstone of the acclaimed ‘La Mer Wellbeing Model’.
